If you're configuring tactical training set up or a commercial shooting range, this is the base you need in your target/base set. It allows you to not only bring larger rounds into the mix, but also allows you to place heavier, full-size targets at just under 3 off the ground, for multi-plane configurations.

Like our other bases, this 32 tall Tactical Full Armomred DOD Base is designed to handle sustained punishment.  The combibation if the compound angle of the AR500 steel safely deflect bullet fragments away from the shooter and makes for incredibaly durrablity. The full length ARMORED plate upright is desinged to handle sustained punishment from larger rounds.  It meets Department Of Defense Military Specifications for Steel targets , and is meant to be used with our 3/8 inch thick targets.

The unique compound angle AR500 steel deflects missed shots safely way from the shooter and fully protects the base.  But as part of our commitment to portability, this base easly disassembles into two peices for easy transportion to your shooting site.

This base holds our larger, 3/8 steel targets stationary at a 30° forward tilt to deflect bullet fragments down and away from the shooter. When mounted with one of our large tactical targets such as our popular Spartan tactical target, this base provides versatility to your tactical training configurations.
