Deb Mickelson is a NRA certified firearms instructor in Gun Safety, FIRST Steps Pistol Orientation, Basics of Pistol Shooting, and Women on Target. She’s a member of The Well Armed Woman (TWAW) and the TWAW Forest Lake Shooting Chapter where she meets with other instructors and women firearm owners to discuss various topics related to safely owning and carrying. She has received training from several instructors on practical pistol skills and continues her own training education through NRA and USCCA instructors in her area to bring a variety of teaching approaches to her classes that enable her to meet her students where they are in their sure and safe firearm ownership journey.
