Pistol Skill Builder Course - Half Day

Filled with drills to work your skills, this half day course is designed to keep you sharp in the most critical fundamentals. Don't let the word "fundamentals" scare you off. This course is for newish shooters up through intermediate shooters, you will get a lot out of it regardless of the skill level you're coming with. The class will be largely shooting and getting reps in with some intermittent instruction dependent on the performance of individuals and the class as a whole.

Each class is a little different and the specific drills are tailored to the group of shooters that day. That said, we primarily focus on the following fundamentals in isolation, and then usually incorporate drills to combine these fundamentals at the end of the class.

Isolated Fundamentals:

• Precision in grip/trigger press
  
• Grip consistency during recoil
  
• Presentation of the gun
  
• Smoothness during holster draw (dependent on individual experience)
  
• Target transition
  
• Trigger manipulation at contextual speed
  
  These classes are kept smaller so that you get more individual coaching. Classes cap out at 8 students.
  
  Unless otherwise specified, all classes/courses will be help at Gun.Rodeo/Helvatia Christmas Tree Farm.
  
  Classes with fewer than 3 students enrolled by the week prior will be rescheduled and the enrolled students will receive credit towards an upcoming class of their choice.
