Get your Oregon and Utah Concealed Carry certificate for carrying and concealing a gun in Oregon, Washington, Utah, and 34 other states. This concise and affordable class is mandatory by Oregon and Utah law for anyone who wants to be CHL certified to carry a handgun in a concealed (aka discrete) manner, whether that’s a belt holster or in a pocket, bag or purse. (Idaho and Arizona do not require a safety certificate.) Our goal is to make your time in class as fun and enjoyable as possible as we work through the required curriculum.
This 2-3 hour CHL class will provide the participants with an understanding of the following:
-Safe firearms handling - no live ammunition will be used
-Safe gun storage
-Oregon law regarding firearms usage
-Suicide prevention discussion
-The self-defense mindset
-Common mistakes that could unknowingly make you a criminal
-Situational awareness
-The importance of de-escalation
-Q&A
Finger print cards will be provided, however, we do not provide a photo. It is your responsibility to mail in your credentials to Utah’s Department of Public Safety.
All CHL classes are held at Gun Rodeo in Helvetia Oregon, unless otherwise specified. Let us know if you have a group and would like to host a CHL class at your location.
